A beautifully presented detached character home situated in the heart of this delightful rural hamlet backing onto open farmland. The property has been improved and updated by the present owners and was originally three period cottages. Whilst the property boasts a huge amount of character with inglenook fireplaces and exposed ceiling timbers, the ceiling heights are not too low which gives the property a delightful bright and airy feel. The accommodation comprises a double aspect 19ft sitting room with inglenook fireplace, family room with open fireplace which opens into a good size study area with doors to the rear, there is a modern fitted kitchen with attractive painted units under extensive stone work surfaces and a roof lantern provides lots of natural light. Off the kitchen there is a dining room and separate utility room and cloakroom. Stairs rise from the entrance hall to the first floor landing which is particularly spacious being light and airy and has aspects over the garden to the rear. There is a principal bedroom with modern fitted en-suite bathroom, three further bedrooms and a further modern fitted family bathroom. Outside the property is approached via an attractive resin bond driveway providing plenty of off road parking leading to a single garage. There is a small brick built outbuilding to the front which apparently was the Village Cobbler in days gone by. The rear garden is a lovely feature of the property being mainly laid to lawn with established trees and shrubs and has delightful aspects to the rear over adjoining farmland. The garden continues in an 'L' shape to the rear where there is a superb garden home office with power and light. Please note; there is a proportion of land adjoining the farmland that is within the garden but not in the property's Title The property benefits from gas fired heating and double glazed windows. We highly recommend a visit to this charming cottage to fully appreciate the accommodation and character on offer.
