Whilst we might not have been busy making news years resolutions here in the office, we have been getting excited about our plans for the year ahead. We’re incredibly proud of our heritage and having been established for over 30 years in the village gives us unrivalled expertise in knowing the local market. But we’re also not all about looking back the future is also very important and providing a service to clients which is constantly evolving and improving.
With this at the forefront of our plans, we are pleased to share with you that the Roger Coupe Land and New Homes business is now an integrated part of Roger Coupe Estate Agents. With James Britton at its helm, he will lead this side of the business as well as continue with his involvement as a Partner in the other areas of the business to which he lends so much of his experience to.
We’re delighted to have added another highly experienced professional to our team – Brent Mariner. Having worked within the industry for over 30 years himself, he brings a wealth of knowledge not just about the area but the whole process involved in buying and selling homes. As a local resident too his insider village knowledge is second to none!
There has been since the last quarter of 2022 some messages of real doom and gloom in the press and media about the housing market, but our figures show that whilst there has been some levelling off in some areas in the market, our clients are still seeing a strong number of viewings and achieving house sales within expected market values.
The same can be said for the financial side of the housing market, despite what the headlines may have led you to think mortgages are being offered, and there is still a good range of products available to suit most people’s needs. From what we continue to see locally the market is in good shape for 2023.
As we all live and work locally our involvement in groups and charities both within Cranleigh and surrounding villages will continue this year, and we’re pleased to have been able to contribute to an amazing project in Loxwood to crowdfund to raise money for solar panels for the village hall. You can learn more about the task that lies ahead here, and also help by contributing or getting involved: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/north-hall-loxwood---winter-warmth-project.
Make sure you follow us on social media too as there will be more updates to follow in the coming months. We also share lots of advice and tips not just for selling properties but across a range of homes and garden topics, as well as current market updates.
