At this time of year it’s nice to look back at what’s happened and reflect on those that we’ve helped in a number of different ways. 

2022 started with a positive outlook as Cranleigh and the surrounding villages remained very popular locations for those looking to move further into the countryside, but also those who were already local and looking to either downsize or upsize!  Thankfully many of the restrictions around Covid had been lifted and it was very much back to business as usual.

It was great to see so many of the local clubs we support through donations, such as Cranleigh Rugby Club and Cranleigh Cricket Club be able to play a full season of sport again.  In the summer we were delighted to support a local Drama group In2Drama who provide the opportunity for budding young performers to perform in a show following a week of drama, singing and dance workshops.

Over the rather strange times we saw politically and economically in late summer/early Autumn we continued to help clients navigate the market and complete on both purchases and sales.  One thing our extensive experience has taught us is there is always a way through. Our understanding of these external factors as well as our unprecedented local knowledge mean we are well-placed to help under these circumstances.

Towards the latter part of the year it was wonderful to see the return of the Christmas lights in Cranleigh which we support every year as well as a hamper raffle.  We’ve also enjoyed sharing our local knowledge about the wonderful events that run at this time of year.

Our year has been a busy one as ever the Team at Roger Coupe have helped over 120 families move into their new home, and have supported our clients to bring over 150 properties to the market!

Whilst we reflect back on the previous year like everyone else our thoughts also move to think about what 2023 will hold in store for us and those looking to move next year.  Although making market predictions may get harder each year – one thing is top of our list, and that’s to continue to provide an unrivalled service and to support as many people as we can in making a move that’s right for them in 2023.
