Now in our 30th year we are proud of our long standing history of being based in Cranleigh, it’s fair to say our team are true local experts, as all members of the Roger Coupe team live in the area, and have done so for many years!
Established in 1991, we cover Cranleigh and the surrounding Surrey and Sussex villages. We’re also specialists in the sale and acquisition of Land and New Homes and have retirement homes department. Through our association with the Guild of Professional Estate Agents we also have partner businesses who can look after your auction, commercial property, mortgage and conveyancing needs.
Being a local business we have always been actively involved both as a business and individuals in various village clubs and activities. We’re proud to support a number of charities and clubs in the local area and one of those is the Cranleigh Lions whose brilliant fundraising events normally run throughout the year and are the highlight for many villagers, such as the Easter Egg Hunt, the Carnival and Bonfire Night – which is a real spectacle. Whilst the events couldn’t happen last year we were pleased to be able to continue our support by making a donation . They’ve done so much to support the local community, particularly during the course of the pandemic. To learn more visit their website here.
Every year Cranleigh High Street is lit up for Christmas and we are one of the many local businesses that contribute to the Christmas lights.
The Cranleigh grass-court tennis tournament runs during the summer and we have sponsored it for last 2 years – sadly it’s on hold for covid too, but it’s a great event and happy to help finance the return of such an important historical event to the village
Over a number of years we’ve also taken on board children from local schools to benefit from undertaking work experience with us – hopefully inspiring some to consider a career in the property sector.
Two further clubs we are also particularly passionate about, and also provide support to their efforts by sponsoring them, and that is Cranleigh Cricket Club and Cranleigh Rugby Club.
Both of these clubs have been established for a very long time, and over many years have provided support and encouragement to a range of young and enthusiastic players – some of which have gone on to play for England no less!
Sadly, as a result of COVID19 the clubs have had to adapt and look at how they can continue providing access to their clubs and the activities in a safe way. Both have risen to the challenge! Even in this current lockdown Cranleigh Rugby Club continues to run it’s own weekly challenge for players and supporters of all ages groups to join in with – head to their Facebook page if you’re interested!
We hope as sponsors, but also supporters that both clubs will be able to resume normal matches and games as soon as it’s safe to do so. The thought of watching a cricket match in the sunshine in front of the clubhouse is even more appealing this year!
